HANNAH’S HANDMADE HOME
Meet Hannah Casparian. Hannah is a baker, a nutritionist, a new homeowner, and a re-purposing force. She enjoys surrounding herself by the things she loves, but more importantly by the things she makes, discovers and re-discovers.
Everything in Hannah's home is deliberate, and she will probably force you to understand all the areas that aren't finished as you look around. One of my favorite things in her living room is the old scale hanging in the corner, which she turned into a working light. I also love how the bench coffee table doesn't take over the width of the room as a traditional coffee table does.
Things that make Hannah happy. Horray for heathy eating!
For someone who takes the time to turn an old scale into a lamp, she's pretty lazy about plant watering. Turning our eye from the plant, I love her very apropos rolling pin collection and her pile of fabrics. I also have a collection of beautiful fabrics awaiting their reincarnation and wouldn't mind getting to see them every day.
Best garbage can idea ever.
Hannah's peeps. No need to match your frames, people. Matchiness is the school teacher that Creativity doesn't have to listen to anymore.
{Left} Hannah makes use of a little wall in her kitchen. {Right} I didn't even ask what this was before, but I'm guessing it wasn't this cute Frenchy yellow with mismatched hardware and an open section.
More mismatched cheerful things.
Hannah's creative alternative to an ugly recycling bin.
Ok, so the previous owner did the structural part of this bathroom, but pretty sweet, right?
The apple doesn't fall far... Hannah's very creative mother made this chair.
What was once a truck storage bin is now a bright storage bench for linens.
Payback for my arrogance: I was admiring this clever homemade candle, when I realized Hannah commissioned me to make it for her. I didn't drown myself in my reflection like Narcissus, but the image did come out blurry.
Hannah's off-bedroom studio.
Well?... Don't you want someone like this baking for your next event? www.hannahcasparian.com
